Home Screen Search
Find saved cmdOS items, browser resources, and commands from the search field on the Home Screen.
Use Home Screen Search
Start with a normal search. Use a category only when the result list contains several different kinds of items.
Select the Home Screen search field or use the configured Home Screen Search shortcut.
Enter the words you remember from the object, command, website, or saved item.
Read the item name and category so you know whether it is a note, link, collection, bookmark, command, agent, or prompt.
Use Up and Down Arrow or click the required result.
Press Enter. cmdOS opens the saved item or continues with the selected command.
Up and Down Arrow changes the selected result. Enter opens it. Escape closes the active search state or returns to the previous state.
Category prefixes can narrow the result list to Notes, Links, Todos, Text Expanders, Collections, Bookmarks, Commands, Chat Agents, or AI Prompts.
