Widgets

Build a flexible dashboard from your cmdOS objects, live information, and custom content.

#1

What are widgets?

Widgets are movable, resizable blocks on the cmdOS Home Screen. Each widget can surface an object, a filtered library, external information, or saved HTML without opening a separate page.

Widgets are stored per workspace and dashboard view.

CustomSelect the exact items to include.
TagsMatch any or all selected tags.
Search can be enabled inside each library widget.
Sort supported libraries by saved order, title, or recent activity.
#6

Practical setup

  • Use a Quick Notes widget for one pinned note and a Notes widget when you need a searchable collection.
  • Choose Custom when a widget should show a hand-picked set; choose Tags when membership should update automatically.
  • Keep frequently used widgets near the top and use dashboard views to separate different contexts.
