Notes

Save short text inside a workspace folder so you can find it later.

Create a note

Start with the note itself: title first, then description.

1Start

Open Notes → click Create New Note.

2Add title

Write a short name. Example: Grocery list.

3Add description

Write the note. Example: Milk, eggs, bread, and apples.

4Save

Choose channel → choose folder → click Create Note.

Simple flow: Create New Note → title → description → channel → folder → Create Note.

Add shared properties

After saving, use Properties when the note needs organization or faster access.

1Open note

Click the note item.

2Open Properties

Use the note Properties option.

3Add tags

Pick tags like personal, shopping, research, or meeting.

4Add shortcut

Assign a Keyboard Shortcut or Text Shortcut if you open this note often.

Example: Grocery list → tag: personal → Text Shortcut: grocery → type c grocery to open it.

Open a saved note

Open the note from wherever you are working.

From Notes

Workspace → folder → Notes → click the note item.

From Board View

Open Board View → find the note → click the note item.

From Keyboard Shortcut

Press the assigned keys. Example: Alt + 1.

From Text Shortcut

Open cmdOS search → type c grocery → open the note.

Edit or delete a note

Use the same places where you open notes.

1Edit from Notes

Workspace → folder → Notes → hover note item → edit → Update Note.

2Edit from Board View

Board View → open note → edit title, description, tags, or shortcuts.

3Edit from shortcut

Open note with Keyboard Shortcut or Text Shortcut → edit the note.

4Delete

Notes or Board View → hover note item → delete → confirm.

Example: type c grocery → open Grocery list → edit the items. Or Board View → Grocery list → delete when you no longer need it.
