Text Expanders
Build reusable text templates with formatting, variable input, and precise cursor placement.
Save text you use often
A Text Expander lets you save text once and insert it again whenever you need it.
It can be a short message, email reply, signature, report format, or any text you type again and again.
Instead of typing the same thing every time, you open the Text Expander and insert the saved text quickly.
Create a Text Expander
Start by writing the text you want to reuse.
Click Create and choose Text Expander.
Give it a clear name, like Email reply, Meeting notes, or Support response.
Type the message or template you want to reuse.
Use the toolbar to format the text, add variables, or choose where the cursor should appear.
Save the Text Expander so you can use it later.
Use variables and cursor tools
Text Expanders can include normal text and special fields for changing values.
Use normal text for words that should stay the same every time.
Use variables for values that change, like name, date, company, or amount.
Set the cursor position where you want to continue typing after the text is inserted.
Use formatting when the text needs bold, lists, links, or other rich content.
Save, find, and use it quickly
After saving, you can organize the Text Expander and open it faster next time.
Add a Text Shortcut or Keyboard Shortcut if you use it often.
Keep it in the right workspace or folder, and add tags if you have many snippets.
Open it again anytime to update the title, text, variables, or shortcuts.
Show useful Text Expanders in a widget when you want them available from the Home Screen.
